Veterans face significant challenges, particularly in mental health, homelessness, substance abuse, and unemployment. “Vets Moving Up” is a comprehensive solution addressing these issues by providing integrated services and support for Veterans throughout the State of Georgia. Vets Moving Up is a Clearinghouse website to provide a “ONE STOP SHOP” for key veteran services and support.  Our mission is to streamline access to essential resources, improve health outcomes, and facilitate successful reintegration into civilian life.

Medical Marijuana

Has been shown to be beneficial in some patients. Cost for Medical Certification by licensed physician is $125. We also offer a Veterans Discount.

Your information goes to the State Registry

Once your condition is certified we upload your information to the State Registry for evaluation. Once approved the State will send your card to your local health department. Your medical card is valid for 2 years.

Substance Abuse

The Recovery Consultants of Atlanta, Inc. (RCA, Inc.) is a private non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1999 by a group of concerned, committed and spiritually centered members of the Metro-Atlanta’s 12-Step and faith-based addiction recovery communities.  ​Over the years, the organization has grown and expanded its services for both clients and patients by offering an array of comprehensive Primary Care Services through its Community Health Center which enhances and supplement all services being provided at RCA.

CareLink of Georgia exists to provide a connection to medication for opioid use disorder   (MOUD) treatment services for patients that have barriers to services. Additionally, CareLink educates vital stakeholders, to include community partners and treatment providers about Opioid Treatment Programs (OTPS).
